Congratulations to Snappy Patron, David Brown, for being recognised in the Queen's Honours List for his work in the York community!
David has been awarded the BEM. This is the British Empire Medal, and is awarded for meritorious civil or military service worth of recognition by the crown.
David said: "I am surprised, humbled, flattered and very proud, that I have been recognised in the Queens New Years Honours with a British Empire Medal for my work for the community in York. Thank you everyone for your support and massive thanks to my lovely wife Linda, Anne Stamp from the Snappy Trust and everyone that was involved with my nomination. "
