Snappy shortlisted for York Award

We are absolutely delighted to share that The Snappy Trust has been shortlisted by the judges in the Best Community Project Of The Year category in the York Press Community Pride Awards 2021.

These awards, held in conjunction with City of York Council, aim to shine a light on the world of those working within the public sector and celebrate special individuals and groups.

The Best Community Project Of The Year category specifically looks for projects carried out by informal non-recognised voluntary groups.

Speaking last year, Councillor Keith Aspden, Leader of City of York Council, said: "The Community Pride Awards celebrate some of the best examples of why York is such a great place to live and work. As a city, it has proven itself time and time again to be a welcoming and supportive place and we are all fortunate to call it home.
"The last 12 months have shown that York is a special city that is home to an incredible range of communities, and these awards help shine a light on some of the people that make a key contribution to our city."

Please keep your fingers crossed - we'll unveil more details soon.
