The Flying Legends pub in York has truly outdone themselves, raising almost £2,000 for charity through their incredible "super raffle" event.
As reported by The Press, the Flying Legends pub, nestled in Clifton Moor, hosted the charity event in support of both Macmillan Cancer Support and The Snappy Trust.
With a passion for making a difference, Faye Spear (a member of staff at the nearby soft play area, Wacky Warehouse) organised this event in December 2023. She said: "I am really overwhelmed with how well the raffle went. The generosity of hundreds of business owners really blew me away. I instantly felt so proud of not only myself, but my manager, my colleagues, and everyone else who was involved. It's a feeling I'll remember for a very long time!"
