We would like to share a special thank you to David Brown, for his continued dedication to supporting our ongoing fundraising efforts.
David has been Patron for The Snappy Trust for over 10 years and in this time, has raised well over £60,000 for our projects! This is a fantastic achievement and because of this, we have been able to fund places for more than 65 children and young people on our Schemes.
Most recently, David has been working hard to organise an Annual Black Tie Dinner to raise money for The Snappy Trust and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The event took place on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at The Regen Centre, Riccall. Guests were invited to attend and bid for a range of fantastic prizes on the silent auction including a Monaco F1 weekend, dinner party with Peter Sidwell and a Ferari day at Silverstone. The event was a fantastic success and David was able to present us with over £4,000!
Anne Stamp, Service Manager, says: “David is a fantastic supporter of The Snappy Trust and we continue to be blown away by his fundraising efforts. The Black Tie Dinner was another wonderful event and we are very grateful to be able to receive over £4,000, which will be used for our ongoing Saturday Schemes.”
David is a retired police officer with 35 years service behind him. He has worked with Children with disabilities both during his time in the police and now, in his retirement.
The Snappy Trust are thankful for David’s dedication and support, and proud to have him stand as Patron of our charity.
