Charities across the country are facing difficulty as lockdown continues and many fundraising events are cancelled.
The Snappy Trust has continued to provide care and support to a number of children and young people throughout the lockdown and as such, is feeling the loss of these fundraising opportunities.
Upon hearing about the difficulties charities are facing, David Brown, Patron of The Snappy Trust, came up with an idea to help!
David says: "At the end of May it is [The Snappy Trust's] 35th birthday and [I wanted to help] make sure they survive to celebrate this huge milestone. I started walking just over a month ago, on a daily basis, setting a modest 6,000 steps a day. I want to reach A MILLION steps before the 16th May 2020."
Today, we are very proud to announce that David did indeed hit his target - ahead of schedule - and in doing so, raised a fantastic £1,150 for The Snappy Trust!
Thank you David, we are very grateful for your continued support!!
If you would like to break up the monotony of lockdown with a fundraising challenge, please get in touch - we would love to hear from you!
