Last month, we were delighted to attend Yorkshire’s largest beer festival to raise money and support our ongoing projects.
Boasting Europe’s longest bar at over 250 feet, more than 550 beers, ciders and perries qs well as an extensive collection of world wines, meads, prosecco, York gins and a foreign beer bar with yet more beers from all over the world - it’s easy to understand why this event was so popular, drawing people in from all over the country!
Nick Love, Festival Communications Manager, said “The beer festival, by size and choice, [was] the largest of its kind in Yorkshire and the largest outside festival in the North of England.”
The Beer Festival was a fantastic occasion with live music, wandering magicians, face painting and traditional bar billiard tables.
The Snappy Trust were well represented throughout the weekend by an awesome team of volunteers who gave up their time to raise an impressive £2,400!! We are incredibly grateful for their tireless energy, positivity and time - we couldn’t have done this without them! Thank you : -)
